Jessica pursued her passion for healthcare by initially aiming for a biology degree at William Carey University with dreams of entering the medical field. Her journey took her through a few semesters of nursing school before she found her calling in the surgical tech field. For the past 13 years, she has dedicated herself to ophthalmology, specializing in oculoplastics, cataracts, glaucoma, and retina procedures.
Driven by a deep-rooted desire to assist others, Jessica found fulfillment in the medical field, particularly through the use of medical cannabis. Witnessing the detrimental effects of opioid abuse, she believes in the power of medical cannabis to improve lives and enhance the quality of life for her patients.
Outside the medical realm, Jessica is a lover of sports and the outdoors. Her downtime is cherished with her 8-year-old son, husband, and their beloved fur baby, Nola. Through her multifaceted journey, she's discovered her purpose in healthcare while balancing a fulfilling personal life enriched by family and nature.
